This Privacy Policy explains how BisonLab LLC (“BisonLab,” “we,” “us”) handles information in connection with the FishBowlmobile game (the “App”), available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The short version: FishBowl has no accounts and no logins. We do not collect your name, email address, or precise location, and we do not use advertising trackers. The App stores an anonymous, randomly generated identifier on your device and sends basic gameplay analytics so we can keep the game working and improve it.
Information we collect
The App collects only the following, none of which identifies you:
- Anonymous session identifier.When you first open the App, it generates a random identifier (a UUID) and stores it on your device. It is sent with requests to our servers to group activity from the same installation. It is not tied to your name, email, phone number, or any account, and it is not your device’s hardware or advertising ID.
- Device and app information. With each request we include your platform (iOS or Android) and the App version, so we can maintain compatibility and diagnose issues.
- Gameplay content and preferences.To build a round, the App sends your game setup to our servers: the age ranges you select, the number of cards, and the themes you choose — including any custom theme text you type. It also sends anonymous gameplay analytics events (for example, that a game started or a round finished) with timestamps.
Team names you enter stay on your device and are not sent to our servers.
Information we do not collect
- No names, email addresses, phone numbers, or accounts.
- No precise or approximate location.
- No contacts, photos, microphone, or camera access.
- No advertising identifiers, and no third-party advertising or cross-app tracking SDKs.
How we use information
- To provide the game— generating card sets from the themes and age ranges you choose.
- To keep it safe and reliable— moderating generated content and diagnosing crashes or errors.
- To improve the game— understanding, in aggregate and anonymously, which features are used.
AI-generated content and service providers
Cards in FishBowl are generated by an AI model. When you start a round, the themes (including custom text) and age ranges you selected are sent to our backend and to our AI provider, Anthropic, which processes them to generate card content. Generated content is passed through automated moderation before it reaches you. We use Amazon Web Services (AWS) to host our backend. These providers process data on our behalf to deliver the App; we do not sell your data or share it for advertising.
Data retention
We retain anonymous analytics and generation logs only as long as needed to operate and improve the App, after which they are deleted or aggregated. Because the data is not linked to your identity, we cannot associate it with a specific person on request, but you can reset the on-device identifier at any time (see below).
Children’s privacy
FishBowl is a family party game that can be enjoyed by younger players. We designed it to collect no personal information from anyone, including children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the equivalent age in your region). The only data associated with a child’s play is the same anonymous session identifier and gameplay analytics described above, used solely to operate and improve the App — not for advertising or profiling. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us at support@bisonlab.ai and we will address it.
Your choices and rights
- Reset your identifier. Uninstalling and reinstalling the App clears the stored session identifier and generates a new one.
- Requests. To ask a question or request deletion of data associated with your installation, email us at support@bisonlab.ai. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information; we honor applicable requests.
Security
All data sent between the App and our servers is encrypted in transit using HTTPS.

Data is encrypted in transit. We do not use data to track you across apps or websites, and we do not sell data. You can request data deletion by contacting us.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the App evolves. Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
