I'm Jon Harding. I build software from Olathe, KS that solves real problems.
I've been building software for over 20 years. What started as a fascination with making computers do exactly what I wanted turned into a career spanning enterprise architecture, full-stack development, and product design. I've shipped code across every layer of the stack, from database schemas to pixel-perfect frontends.
In 2021, I founded BisonLab LLC as an independent product studio. The idea was simple: take two decades of hard-won engineering knowledge and channel it into building products that solve real, specific problems — not chasing trends, not building features nobody asked for, just solving pain points I've seen firsthand.
My primary focus is 811 Assist, a multi-tenant SaaS platform for utility locate ticket management. It's the kind of unglamorous, critical infrastructure software that keeps construction projects moving and underground utilities safe. Alongside that, I'm building a handful of other products across fundraising, giving, and gaming — each one tackling a different problem space.
I'm leaning hard into the AI revolution of code development. Not as a novelty, but as a genuine force multiplier. Tools like AI tools don't replace 20 years of experience — they amplify it. I ship faster, with higher quality, and with more confidence than ever. That's the future of building software, and I'm all in.
